Firstly, a little bit about ourselves.
We had the pleasure of being given our first bull terrier bitch in 1988 and although we did not know much about the breed at the time, we did learn about the unique temperament of the bull terrier.
In February 1994 we purchased our first pedigree bull terrier puppy. We would have liked to have shown our boy but we didn’t do enough research before hand and things did not go according to plan. Merlin remained with us for almost 8 years, but unfortunately had to take an early trip over the Rainbow Bridge.
In March 2002 we were able to invite Macey to join our family and to restart our dreams of showing and breeding bull terriers.
Secondly, we would not be where we are today if it wasn’t for the good friends that we have made since losing Merlin. We first contacted Evie (Trahern Bull Terriers) and she was the one who encouraged us to have a go at showing. Through Evie we met Lorna (Evildouer Bull Terriers) and Louise. Evie and Lorna have been our mentors and taught us a lot about the breed and about handling in the show ring. Evie also handled Macey in her first show and acquired her first challenge. Louise took it upon herself to do some research when we were looking for a kennel prefix and Langidrik was one of the names that she found. We thought the meaning “small storm” was quite fitting for bull terriers!
Pictured below are Louise, Rick, Lorna and Evie and some of their bullies on New Years Day 2003.

We have successfully campaigned Macey who received her Championship title in November 2003. She has since had 2 litters and is now lying around our house enjoying her retirement.
We are also very grateful to Graeme and Adele Wright (Lowdina Bull Terriers) for allowing us to use Jacob (Ch. Lowdina Iced Image ROM) for Macey’s second litter. We are currently campaigning one of their puppies (Mary - Langidrik Crown Princess).
